Taco Neck-Tutorial (Instrumentals)

Photobucket

So, if I didn't make it clear before, Taco Neck is my band. Well, sort of. It's an entity I created in order to make wierd(er) music. I still make beats and rap, but Taco Neck is my "art project". I feel it represents the music I listen to and the town that I live in.

The debut EP Tutorial will be available very soon (very, very soon) and features many of my super talented friends (Onry Ozzborn, Josh Martinez, Xperience, Smoke, Ceschi Ramos, Gold, iAME, and NyQwil). I thought I would release the instrumental album for free and let the music speak for itself. Then, hopefully you'll buy the album for all the great guests on it.

JFK-Paranoid (Video and MP3)

O.K. I lied. There's more. And this one's a doosie:

"JFK (Grayskul/Rhymesayers/Oldominion) returns with the second official video and single from his debut album "Building Wings on the Way Down." "Paranoid" is the result of being unfaithful, stressed, fatigued, self-loathing and fearful, and is the true story of a family friend that committed suicide. JFK can't seem to hide from the voices and demons. The eerie, haunting track was produced by WormWood Blazes and features Seattle's Candidt and DJ Rise."

JFK-One Of These Kids

Photobucket

Wrapping up our 3 song, JFK blog-fest is the banger, "One Of These Kids". Quality Control Marketing (Karim a.k.a. Nightclubberlang's new company) is helping with the promo for the album. Here's how they describe the track:

"The vicious track features a deep and dark bassline with sharp hand claps and haunting synth slaps, with JFK speaking on two similar life stories (the underground MC, and the money hungry stripper), and how they eerily coincide in one far from simple boy meets girl story. JFK and Jake One – 2 of Seattle’s finest doing what they do best!"

Mr. Hill-The Deadlivers Instrumentals

Photobucket

The homie Mr. Hill released the instrumentals he made for Grayskul's 2004 opus, Deadlivers today. I thought it was a really cool idea. Deadlivers was and always will be an important album for Oldominion.

Destro, Pegee13,& Anax-That's The Sound...

Photobucket

Here's a track we made a couple years back. I can't recall if it was originally intended for Destro's solo album or for an Oldominion project, but it is what it is: pretty straight forward. I made the beat, so blame me for it's redundancy. Or credit me for it's sheer awesomeness. Either or.
